Winter Light Walk Thur 12/16 in Lincoln Village Park between 4:30 and 6:30pm

winncommunityguild

Let us gather safely outdoors to bring light and warmth into the cold winter months. We will celebrate the resilience and sense of community that has brought us through this challenging time. May our lanterns and togetherness demonstrate that our light will continue to shine despite any darkness we are faced with.

Groups will be departing from the park at regular intervals between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Plan to join at the time that best suits your family's schedule.

***Please keep in mind that this is a peaceful, reverent celebration. Masks required for all participants at all times. All children must be accompanied by an adult.***

LANTERNS:

Students may have lanterns created at school that they may use for the walk. Here is a simple DIY: https://innerchildfun.com/.../how-to-make-easy-paper...

You are also welcome to carry a battery operated candle, flashlight, or similar. We recommend all family members carry a source of light.

ROUTE:

The walk will begin at the south entrance to Lincoln Village Park, go through the neighborhood past A.M. Winn, and conclude back at Lincoln Village pool.

This event is organized by the A.M. Winn Community Guild, and is not affiliated with A.M. Winn Public Waldorf EK-8 or Sacramento City Unified School District. For more info, please contact winncommunityguild@gmail.com.
