The 2022-2023 Open Enrollment application will be available Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. - Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. on the Open Enrollment website.
Open Enrollment is an opportunity for incoming kindergarten through 8th grade students who reside permanently within the boundaries of Sacramento City Unified School District to apply for spots in schools beyond their neighborhood school, when space is available. It is recommended that you register your incoming kindergartener in their neighborhood school before you apply for Open Enrollment in case your child is not selected through the lottery.
